Cosmetics that are kind to your skin

Products with gentler formulations are being asked for by more and more customers who are concerned about adverse skin reactions.

Body colour cosmetics are products that can be used to give colour and shine to the body. They include body glitter and non-permanent bronzer products.
Sunless tanners that leave a more permanent effect are classed as sun care rather than body colour.

To this end many body colour cosmetic manufacturers have launched products that incorporate vitamins and anti-oxidants as the key ingredients.

Products from the US and the UK incorporated vitamins and minerals in a bid to 'combat free radicals' and promote healthier skin.

Consumers are ready to pay more for brands that give the perception of quality, therefore premium products are another key driver in the body color cosmetics segment.

Guerlain, Estee Lauder, and Albion were among the companies launching premium products in the past quarter.

ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER - LLOYD WEBBER SLAMS COSMETIC SURGERY REPORTS

SIR ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER has blasted newspaper reports he underwent cosmetic surgery - but jokes it wouldn't be a bad idea. THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA creator, 58, recently underwent surgery to repair a damaged tear duct in his eye but the operation was misconstrued by the media. He explains, "I know some people have suggested it was a cosmetic operation, but trust me it wasn't. "In retrospect maybe I should have had more done while I was under the knife! But, as you can see, I didn't."
